Transition stages to Pine Pellet cat litter

As a behavior that may differ from cat to cat;
While some cats are directly addicted to pine pellets, some cats may have difficulty accepting it.

In this case, our advice would be as follows;

  1. First of all, pour 1/3 of pine pellets into your cat's old toilet.

  2. As the sand decreases at the end of daily cleaning, replace the sand with pine pellets.

Once your cat gets used to urinating on pine pellets, you can switch to the ThreeSweetPets cat litter box.

How to Produce Pine Pellets?

Pine pellets are a granular material made from natural wood raw materials, usually obtained from pine trees.

General production process of pine pellets:

  1. Preparation of Raw Materials : The production process starts with sawdust or wood fibers, mostly obtained from pine trees. These raw materials are obtained from wood processing plants or the forest industry. Sawdust or fibers are ground or shredded to appropriate sizes.

  2. Compression: Prepared raw materials are generally compressed to have a certain moisture content. This process allows the material to be compressed and granulated. Sometimes steam or heat may also be used during the compression process.

  3. Shaping and Drying: Compressed material is formed into pellets of a specific shape or size. These pellets are usually created through special pelletizing machines or presses. The pellets are then left to dry. The drying process ensures that the pellets reach the desired moisture and durability.

The production of pine pellets is a natural and environmentally friendly process, as recycled wood raw materials are often used and chemical additives are minimal or not used at all. For this reason, pine pellets are also preferred as an environmentally friendly cat litter option.
